In 1776, Mrs. Tran Thi Dao donated money to build this bridge . She is the 6th grandchild of the Tran family, because she feels sorry for the people who have to climb and wade through the river very hard every day. She took her own money, built the tile-roofed bridge for people to conveniently travel.

After being born, Thanh Toan tile-roofed bridge is now not only an ordinary bridge, helping the local people to travel here, but also bringing spiritual and artistic values .

In 1990, to repay the effort to serve the people, the worthy result was that this beautiful bridge was recognized as a national monument of Vietnam .

With the upper architecture is the roof, the lower is the foot of the bridge.
